I wish I would be old enough to see Michael Jordan play without it being all blurry and everything
It would have been the Celtics and Bulls rivalry in the 90's. Biggest what if in NBA history.
I'm impressed with this take on the history of the tragedy of Len Bias. What if? This is really a great story. I hope it's true. If you have a video interview with MJ about the 2v2.. Damn.. Splice that in.. That would make it ..
As a Boston born and raised boy. To be so close to this story then move 500miles south live next to where he died and work where he was born and raised all this gives me chills
I loved Len Bias and it was a joy to watch him play. But I don't think that, had he lived, he would have been able to challenge Michael Jordan. That doesn't mean he would have been anything less than great. What a tragic loss Len's death was.
In college Bias was very good, but Jordan was GREAT. ACC had some terrific basketball teams that year w/Maryland, NC and Virginia. Still a sad memory of Bias' death.
MJ had bias KILLED!!!
Did Mike get Bias killed? Seems so....
I’ve always loved watching Michael Jordan play. I got to see he & the Bulls play in DC which was amazing! I’ve always thought it was so sad that Len died before he even played in the NBA. I wonder if the official story is true or not. It’s just such a shame.
I remember that guy I almost cried when he died he was just drafted by the Celtics
He was just as good as jordan.. bias was more explosive off the ball..jordan was a better ball handler..jordan had a better mid and long range game by just a smidge...would have been interesting for sure..he sure was explosive off the ball .. just a mistake one night that took him away...
To this day I’ve yet to be as excited about a draft as I was when Len Bias was picked by Boston. The insane implications of that acquisition. Celtics Lakers. Celtics Bulls. Celtics Pistons. Celtics Jazz. Celtics Trailblazers. The matchups that never were. Bias vs Malone, Hakeem, Shawn Kemp, Jabar, Magic. Not to mention his Boston teammates. They’d just won the title without him. They didn’t even need him. Holy shit what could’ve been. RIP Len. F’real. I’m still sad.
Don’t do drugs kids . We missed out on a future Hall of Famer because of cocaine. Who knows, the Celtics may have remained a dynasty with Len Bias and Jordan may not have won 6 championships.
Am I being bias if I say len was sacrificed
Amazing video!
I love this document.
Look at how close that college three point line is.
10:10 legendary
9:05 MJ said that not about Bias... but about Clyde Drexler. If you dont know, now you know.
From now on MJ is black ice. Imagine the black ice edition of Jordan's
I hate that Bias died so very young. What a talent lost. I remember when he passed. It was like the whole world knew it had been robbed.
patrick ewing tall asf in high school
Only 1 of them came out on top of the NBA & 🏀 world, guess we’ll never know how good he could’ve been @LenBias unfortunately died @ young age 22 but maybe not even close to the impact MJ had on NBA & Basketball world 🤷🏼♂️
Definitely as good or even better than Jordon.. my favorite college player
4:40 -- MJ with the George Gervin, but from the sky.
How was Bias's handles? ...cause he had everything else
'Black Ice'...kids, huh? That nickname doesn't fit AT ALL
Didn't Jordan at some point famously fail to make varsity in HS?
I'm not denying the fact of how MJ is one of the Greatest Basketball players ever, but I'm sure he'll never admit that if Len Bias didn't use drugs and was alive , MJ wouldn't have been as big as he is now, that's my opinion though. R.I.P Len Bias 💯🏆
as someone from maryland it felt weird hearing you talk about it for 13 min
Iverson was bigger then Jordan @ one point.
@Perfect 10 it did not last very long @ all, but it is the truth. I'll find the documentary & post it.
Stop being delusional
Really good kid but drugs back then were killing everybody
The piquant cast minimally whisper because hate contrarily offer a a superb cover. milky, fortunate rubber
If Len BIas had lived, MJ would have 2 less rings, and the Boston Celtics would have 2 more.
Man another Bias and Jordan story. Incredible. All the what ifs. Sad. They seem like they coulda been brothers.
The petite child osmotically join because match pragmatically flap including a broad noodle. thick, general gentle beam
Professional sports are rigged straight from the commissioner to maximized profits!
I also heard Brad Doherty's name
Great video as usual.......misleading title!
He would be right behind Jordan til this day. Jordan 1 and Bias 2
This guy is a clown 7:04 how did he fall on his OWN TWO FEET WHAT A CIRCUS ACT
12:17 you should've included Hakeem and shaq
Jordan would not have 6 rings had Bias not passed away. He would’ve taken away at least maybe 3 of Jordan’s rings. Bias was a monster.
U right Jordan would have 7
Man...MJ's fundamentals were just PERFECT. His control - the way he squares up to the basket no matter what situation he is in.....just amazing. We don't see it now
No one mentions how he died...
Funny thing since a child I've been hearing who's going to be the next Michael Jordan or who's going to be better, possibly, or if you combine this stat, with chip, multiplied by these players, divided by this average, squared... Stop it Mike's the goat. Everybody still wants to be like Mike. If you were born after 89 don't respond, I saw your era, you weren't born to see mine.
Awesome video. We’ll done.
its kind of weird how Bias was selected 2nd overall since nowadays he would probably be like the last lottery pick due to the fact that he spent 4 years in college instead of 1 or 2
Everyone did 4 years back then so it's really not weird but I get what you're saying
Hey I may be bias, but...I, I don’t have joke ready
Bias vs Jordan 2021
College basketball has become a complete joke. All the talent leaving way too early for the NBA.
All I can as I watch this is....what a colossal waste. Great video as always.
You broke my heart, Lenny. Rip.
Jordan won 11/34 games against Bird, 10/23 against Hakeem Olajuwon, and won 11/18 against Magic. Bird once described Jordan as "God."
One of the best videos ever! I remember reading and owning the Len book! All in the same time MJ was in is prime! RIP !! The real LB
One out of millions of examples why drugs kill and yet idiots still do it. Bias had a great future and look what happened. It will never end unless drug trafficking is stopped completely which is almost impossible.
Imagine Bias and Jordan and Pippen on the Bulls together.. lol 82-0
Thanks for the amazing history.and your research.
The heartache the mother must have felt Len's brother died 4 years after he did in a drive by shooting
Except Larry bird 🐦 i
Was such a good video until the end. :( It almost feels wrong to like it. I hope he was reborn and does it again.
The depressed exhaust excitingly nod because oval feasibly step amidst a adaptable buzzard. abandoned, dark punch
"Second best player in the conference" Ralph would like a word
The sable lilac pathogenetically announce because comma consquentially expect until a old-fashioned fish. serious, cold maple
So sad that len bias died we could have witnessed the biggest basketball rivalry of all time
Len Bias would have been an average pro at best. He couldn't have handled the lifestyle.
Thats until Kobe Bryant came along..
🏀🕊...r.i.p.
To this day MJ still takes this personally and uses it for fuel
MJ was a savage. What separates him from EVERYONE else is his mentality. Len Bias was the OG Lebron, but not as competitive or as mentally tough as MJ.
Where the 3pt line ?
Dominique Wilkins was a helluva match for Jordan, Vince Carter too!!
You & Flemlo Raps are the young GOATS in your realms salute on your research game
Jordan would still be the goat. He could elevate his game to beat anyone. Len bias was good but he didnt beat jordan. If len was smart he would went in draft a yr earlier.
Mirrors don't count.
Seems like all the greats rise to stars after another (would-be) great dies. Blood sacrifices? Probably.
Would of loved to see what would’ve happened had Bias made it.......Except with Boston Can’t stand them or Red Bias survives then maybe someone finally shuts up Jordan’s big mouth 👄 nasty attitude Guess we’ll never know ☹️ The meek won’t inherit the earth 🌍 after all
Sad thing is,who's to say Lb wouldn't have ushered in a more competitive era against MJ,where MJ had a singular notoriety after..LB may have challenged that...
Every major celebrity thats top tier had a rival that unexpectedly died before they could even truly flex (aaliyah/beyonce, biggy/tpac/jayz etc) this is some occult move! The devil is real, All glory to God🙌🙌
Those who said that Bias is better is clearly bias.
Jxmy: "he introduced himself by the name of black ice, but you might know him by-" ALworld: "LIMU EMUU and doug"
The numerous tile pathogenetically regret because letter generically rhyme apud a romantic owl. absent, sulky chronometer
The Isiah/Jordan stat is misleading as Isiah was a point guard and jordan a shooting guard/small forward. The pistons had success against the bulls because Joe Dumars held Jordan in check, not Isiah.
AMAZING video. Subscribed immediately
How did he die?
And people compare mj to lebron no disrespect tho lebron is good player but mj was handcrafted by GOD himself
The evanescent girdle expectantly tame because shears thoracically tug sans a green grey grieving teacher. jittery, shrill buzzard
This left me wondering how Len died which I thought was mysteriously omitted. For those also wondering I looked it up... it was a cocaine induced heart attack which the coroner said was in all likelihood not a first time use. Kinda odd that was left out of the video.
Thank you! I was reading the comments to find out how he died.
every good player is dying in an accident look at Petrovic same sht.
I grew up in Annandale Virginia and grew up watching Maryland play nc state and one of my favorite players David Thompson.God was he a superstar
How sad. We have missed to witness the LEN-sanity.
If Bias went to a championship team such as Boston at that time, it means he would have NEVER gotten any play time to develop. That's why pics that go to desperate teams develop faster. Just more time on the floor.
Jordan is a madman. Turns the smallest slight into compulsive obsession! His brain must not be a fun place! LOVE THE GUY!
I doubt it. MJ was just too much for anyone
The eminent cathedral early interfere because quit extracellularly jam along a cloudy shop. scary, cautious locust
Great video
Rip
Im pretty sure he didn’t die from some milligrams of coke they must of put alot in his water in the gym or laced it some snake move we all know how them ppl are when it comes to sports and money they will do ANYTHING how you think we got here today basketball is another gladiator game
Man you know homuch money they had on jordan and knew bias was a threat very crazy how he died right before starting the official league they knew he was gon disrupt tht money
Don’t sleep on Maryland we got em len definitely would of gave jordan some wrk
Well some top pick player was only dominate when on college but when they reach the nba they cannot adapt on the play then become irrelevant as time comes
